Happy 39th Birthday to Jason Momoa!

@sarabeth72 😍😍😍

Oooh, he needs cake.

I wasn’t exactly thinking that as the way to celebrate his birthday…

Depends on how I’m gonna eat the cake.

Or how he’s gonna eat the cake…

One of my greatest regrets was not getting this magazine. I can’t even find it secondhand. Winston Duke on a COVER of a mag is all I need for my collection.

Just look at that cover shot! Imagine crawling toward him and he just there, sittin, posted; on alert and ready! Ugh

I did NOT need that visual…gently falling to your knees and slowly crawling toward him as he leans back, watching you in anticipation for what’s to come, eyes darkening with lust as you come closer to worship him properly…

Sorry, I don’t know where that burst of nonsense came from.

Oh girl, you finna be a PROBLEM i see! As soon as I think im done, you pull me back IN! Why you so extra?? I dont need this much inspiration, in front of my salad!

I can’t help myself… I mean, it’s not my fault

It’s HIS fault

Come Walk With Us!

Saturday, September 29th, Black Children’s Books and Authors will host our 2nd Annual Our Stories Matter Laps-for-Literacy 2 Mile Walk. We want you to lace up your sneakers and join us in Audubon Park at the Carolyn Dobson Walking Fitness Trail. Last year the weather was perfect, clear and cool. DJ Siphne kept our feet on beat with great walking tunes. Children’s and young adult books were available for walkers to take at no cost. This year we expect, more walkers, more books, and more fun!

Proceeds from the walk will help fund the inaugural Our Stories Matter

Black Children’s Books and Authors Festival coming in June 2019!

September is also National Literacy Month, so come walk with us and celebrate!

If you are in the Memphis, TN area and want to walk, REGISTER here!

Can’t walk with us? No problem—you can still DONATE via PayPal here

No gift is too small for this great cause. Thank you!
