I’ve had grown men tweet me and say, ‘I wish I had the balls to walk in my board meeting like Cookie.’ Even if you don’t have the guts to stand up and let your inner Cookie roar, we all have it in us. It doesn’t matter the color, the sexual orientation.
“I knew that entertainment was the thing I was supposed to do with my life when I was twenty three years old. I was very depressed, I was doing stand up comedy and working at the airlines and I ended up in therapy. The therapist was like, ‘what makes you happy?’. I said, ‘hearing people laugh makes me happy. Seeing people smile! I love teeth but I don’t wanna hurt anybody. Maybe I should be a dentist but that hurts people so I don’t know what I wanna do.’ She said, “why don’t you get back into stand up comedy, do comedy more?”. I wasn’t making any money at it and so I started doing it more.”
Dear United States of America, I am 13 years old. This summer was the best summer of my young life. Out of this whole journey, the best part was having my family behind me supporting me through everything I did. I have a passion for sports. Every day of the week I’m playing soccer, basketball, or baseball. I stand for girls who want to play sports with the boys and to be a role model for people, young and old. I throw 70 miles per hour. That’s throwing like a girl.
Stop attacking other people for looking different than the character they’re dressed up as! We need to be nice and accept one another! ‘Cause in the end, we’re all just a bunch of nerds, looking to have fun, right?
If I ever stop rebloging this, assume I’m dead
